Brevard County, Florida encompasses approximately 1,310 square miles along the Atlantic ocean
near the middle of the Florida peninsula. The County is 72 miles north to south and is bordered on
the north by Volusia County and on the south by Indian river County. The county extends about 20
miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean, with the St. Johns River forming its western boundary.
